Jean Paul Gauthier Fall/Winter 2013/2014 Paris Fashion Week

Continue with his inspiration of Rock and Roll from his Couture collection this master couturier present his Ready To Wear Fall/Winter collection. with a shower or Burgundy, Brown, Gold, Black colors meeting the metallic, 80’s dance print, transparency and fur in a harmonious way. Again Jean Paul Gauthier or as he is know “enfant terrible” (bad Boy) in French fashion, rocks the runway during Paris fashion week.

With his recent trip to London to see the David Bowie show, Jean Paul too Bowies’s persona as inspiration of his collection. Think about 1940s cat-woman thought the 80’s with a modern twist Parisienne, pencil skirt, with his conical hat and stiletto heels, as the models walked the runway in the royal blues, hot pinks, and plum tones, layered chiffons reflecting the light and color in crystal bead trim. He took the traditional notebooks, turned in velvet fabrics with Swarovski Crystal. The embroidery technique was used for big cat prints, and for a dazzling leopard pelt, that glittered down the front of a black sheath, with an ankle-length mink hoodie. Inspired also by the mid-century photography, Jean Paul Gautier also used giant pocket that stood away from the body, emphasizing the form-fitting hourglass shape of his jacket and dresses.
